FUSION: New Student Transfer Orientation 2008

transferEMU wants to make your transition as smooth as possible to ensure your academic success; that’s why you’re invited to attend Fusion: New Student Transfer Orientation. During Fusion, you’ll experience new people, places and programs that will become your life at EMU. You will meet fellow classmates and learn about campus resources, academic support services and student organizations. Transfer orientation is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended. All EMU enrolled students who are admitted as transfers are invited to attend Transfer Student Orientation.

Transfer Orientation Registration

* The transfer orientation fee is $18 and includes to cost of program supplies, the student packet, the EMU student planner, meals, and one guest. EMU welcomes families and guests as part of the Transfer Orientation program; however please not that unfortunately, we do not have accommodations for children during this program. The cost of one guest is included with your registration; any additional guests will be billed to the student’s account for $5 per person.

Driving Directions: Getting to Campus for EMU Transfer Orientation

Transfer Orientation takes place in the EMU Student Center at 900 Oakwood Street, Ypsilanti MI 48197. During Orientation, free parking is available in the EMU Student Center parking lot located on Oakwood Street. or for a link to a campus map visit here

Special Needs:

Are you a student with special needs?(dietary, mobility, sight, hearing, language, religious or others). Accommodations for special needs are available. We will make every effort to meet your needs, when you request these services as far in advance as possible by contacting Campus Life at 734.487.1208.

Looking for more Orientation?

Do you think you’d like a more comprehensive Orientation? If you you prefer, you may also register for our traditional New Student Orientation program. Our traditional FUSION: New Student Orientation is a four-day long program, running Saturday, August 30 through Tuesday, Sept. 2 and is targeted towards the 18-20 year old freshman population for an all-inclusive fee of $200.   • EMU campus services are typically available 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some offices offer extended hours during the first week of classes. If you would like assistance contacting a specific office please do not hesitate to contact us.
